Save the Stephen
I have a goal of completing a bachelors degree in music at the LCCM, and somehow emerging debt-free by the end of it. I’ve enjoyed my time there immensely and have been seriously pushed musically. Completing my degree would allow me another two years in the best city in the world, and I believe a greater chance to succeed with my music. As an international student I’m unable to get a student loan either in the UK or via NZ. I’ve been able to borrow some money for 2nd year from some generous friends, but they will need paying back, and also my 3rd year fees will be due in August 2012. In total I need a mere £11,000. Pocket change!
Here’s the plan: I’m running regular music nights to raise funds, and also to perform my music and showcase the talents of other original artists - I’m passionate about getting talented people up on stage when perhaps they haven’t been given the opportunity/ haven’t been bothered. Keep an eye on the homepage or the Facebook page for the next event.
